Main and Cargo Tunnel Main Remediation works, a refresh of essential tunnel systems
In a relationship spanning nearly 20 years, we have provided a comprehensive package of airport services and solutions, with specialist engineering support, including surveys and consultation, to packages ranging from individual components to fully integrated turnkey solutions, and a key role in the airports (HEART) Heathrow Airport Remote Telemetry system which monitors and controls airport infrastructure.
All our specialist Airport Service Engineers have been security checked and hold current airside passes and driving licenses to cover many UK airports using our own airside licensed vehicles. Our control solutions represent state of the art, high integrity systems capable of meeting the stringent demands required, with a portfolio including stand alone, dual redundant processing, and hot standby systems, necessary to deliver the availability of service demanded within the airport industry. Project have ranged from water treatment, power monitoring, terminal management, extensive tunnel projects to the HEART framework, a 5 year framework contract to design and implement PLC outstations to monitor and control airport infrastructure.
Projects have included: Mayfield Farm water treatment works; extensive tunnel systems install and upgrades including original system install in the Airside road tunnel, Cargo Tunnel, Northern Airside Roads, Southern airside roads, Eastern Apron Airside roads tunnels; Terminal management systems; Passenger transit gates (automatic passport gates) and two consecutive involvements on the central HEART (Heathrow Airport Remote Telemetry) framework, the outstations of which provide real-time information to the Airport Duty Engineering Manager (ADEM) at the APOC for monitoring and control purposes. Recent projects include extensive UPS installations, the Main and Cargo Tunnel High Priority Works and extensive support and maintenance work across the airport.
