Graduate Systems Engineers

Salary: £27,224 + overtime + benefits 

What we need from you…

A team player with excellent technical aptitude who has the desire to succeed.  You will train as a Systems Engineer within the control system industry and be trained on the following skills:

 

  • Program a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.
  • Ability to program and configure SCADA software packages.
  • Write code in programming languages ranging from C, SQL and VB scripting.
  • Understanding of design and configuration of IP networks.
  • Competent at design and testing of ELV electrical panels.
  • Ability to configure CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network.
  • Professionalism to perform FAT and site commissioning under formal client witnessed conditions.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with our clients.
  • Degree/HND in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering.

    Systems Engineers

    Salary: £30,000 – £44,500 + overtime + benefits

    What we need from you…

    A team player with excellent technical aptitude who has the desire to succeed.  You will work as a Systems Engineer within the control system industry having some of the following skills; we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas and for the right candidate on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.  

    • Working as part of a team who are responsible for the design, implementation and testing of control/integrated digital systems including traffic detection and management, ventilation and pump control, life safety systems, incident management and many more.
    • Ability to program a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.
    • Ability to program and configure SCADA software packages and User Interface mimic design.
    • Have a high-level of competency in programming languages ranging from C, C++, C#, SQL, VB and VBA.
    • Understanding of design and configuration of IP networks.
    • Competent at design and testing of ELV electrical panels.
    • Ability to configure CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network.
    • Professionalism to perform FAT and site commissioning under formal client witnessed conditions.
    • Work collaboratively and proactively with our clients.
    • Degree/HND in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering.
    • Have 2 years’ experience in delivering control/integrated systems using some of the desired skills listed above.

     

    Senior Systems Engineer

    Salary: £47,500 – £54,750 + overtime + benefits

    What we need from you… 

    A team player with excellent technical aptitude who has the desire to succeed.  You will work as a Systems Engineer within the control system industry having some of the following skills; we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas and for the right candidate on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.

    • Have technical responsibility for projects including design, development, and testing of control/integrated systems digital systems including traffic detection and management, ventilation and pump control, life safety systems, incident management and many more.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and technical management of Project Engineers and working as part of a team to achieve project delivery.
    • Ability to program a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.
    • Ability to program and configure SCADA software packages and User Interface mimic design.
    • Have a high-level competency in programming languages ranging from C, C++, C#, SQL, VB and VBA.
    • Understanding of design and configuration of IP networks.
    • Competent at design and testing of ELV electrical panels.
    • Ability to configure CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network.
    • Professionalism to perform FAT and site commissioning under formal client witnessed conditions.
    • Work collaboratively and proactively with our clients.
    • Degree/HND in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering.
    • Have 5 years’ experience in delivering control/integrated systems using some of the desired skills listed above.

       

    Commissioning Engineers 

    Salary: £30,000 – £54,000 + overtime + benefits 

    What we need from you…

    A team player with a resourceful and tenacious drive to complete tasks and tests efficiently and thoroughly.  You will work as a Commissioning Engineer within the control system industry having some of the following skills; we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas and for the right candidate on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.    

    • Checking installation of equipment is to the correct standard prior to starting testing.
    • Performing testing of a system according to installation and commissioning test document.
    • PLC data input tests including verification of operation to and from plant and field devices into PLCs.
    • Field device set-up
    • Perform site acceptance tests, fault find and correct any PLC code or wiring issues.
    • Perform client testing according to test documents.
    • Produce documentation such as RAM’s; test documentation; weekly progress reports etc.
    • Qualified to HND level or above in electrical or control engineering.
    • As we have a number of positions available we will consider all levels of on the job experience.
    • Have a full UK driving licence
    • Have no criminal convictions due to security clearances required by airport authorities.
    • This is a field-based role covering the different sites throughout UK and would be suited for someone with a flexible approach to travelling and working away from home. There is a potential to work a mix of days and nights whilst working on site dependant upon the project and client site access availability.  

     

     

    Graduate System Support Engineer

    Salary: £26,258.40 + premium hours rates + overtime (forecast earnings – £30,966.01) + benefits

    What we need from you…  

    You are a team player looking to train as a System Support Engineer using some of the following skills; we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas and for the right candidate on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.  You will work within the system support department who are responsible for preventative maintenance, design and modifications of existing SCADA, PLC and associated sub-systems as well as providing 24-hour emergency call out nationwide.  

    • Ability to problem solve and diagnose issues as and when they arise.
    • Committed to providing excellent customer service.
    • Ability to program a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.
    • Ability to program and configure SCADA software packages.
    • Have a high-level competency in programming languages ranging from C, C++, C#, VB and VBA.

    System Support Technician

    Salary: £24,279 – £36,700 + overtime + benefits

    What we need from you…  

    You are a team player who will be working within our system support department who are responsible for preventative maintenance, design and modifications of existing SCADA, PLC and associated sub-systems as well as providing 24-hour emergency call out nationwide. For the right candidate, on the job training and mentoring will be provided to fill any skills gaps you may have.  We are looking for:

     

    • Practical people who have some experience or interest in engineering and technology.
    • Work as part of a team who are responsible for planning, procuring, maintaining, and reporting over a wide range of sites and sub-systems.
    • Someone who enjoys diagnosing and problem solving and is committed to customer service.
    • Willing to travel throughout the UK, working nights on a regular basis.
    • Have a full UK driving licence and valid passport.
    • Have no criminal convictions due to security clearances required by airport authorities.
    • Will be qualified to NVQ, C&G level or above in a relevant Electrical/Electronic or IT engineering discipline.

    Office Administrator

    Salary: £21,000 – £26,000 + benefits

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks with precision and professionalism. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to solve problems quickly are essential to succeed in this dynamic role.

     

    • Organising travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and vehicle rentals for 30+ Engineers and Technicians, ensuring all details are handled seamlessly.
    • Coordinating the maintenance of the company fleet, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and in good working condition.
    • Conducting regular Health and Safety maintenance tasks such as fire alarm tests, fire extinguisher servicing, and first aid box replenishment to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Organising and scheduling training courses for staff, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
    • Handling general office duties, including post, filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate systems and records.
    • Welcoming visitors with a confident, professional demeanour, providing refreshments, and managing the switchboard efficiently.
    • Maintaining a well-organised, clean office environment, ensuring general housekeeping is up to standard.
    • Managing stock levels of essential supplies including stationery, PPE, and washroom consumables, ensuring availability at all times.
    • Overseeing deliveries and returns, ensuring smooth coordination and handling.
    • Issuing necessary equipment such as PPE, tooling, and office supplies to staff, maintaining accurate records.
    • A full UK manual driving license is essential.

        Electrical Control Panel Technician

        Salary: £24,000 – £34,000 + benefits

        A team player with excellent technical aptitude who has the desire to succeed. You will work as a Electrical Control Panel Technician Panel Wirer within the control system industry; working with a mentor to develop the skills required to perform the following duties:

         

        • Understanding and interpretation of electrical schematic wiring diagrams.
        • Working with hand tools, power tools and basic test equipment such as multi-meters.
        • Follow construction drawings accurately to produce a high-quality standard of work.
        • Build, assemble and wire electrical and electronic control panels.
        • Temporary installation of control panels and devices at PDS, including cable and power terminations.
        • Setting up and configuring equipment and initial testing of system functionality.
        • Fault finding of power and PLC signal wiring, including any rectification works as necessary.
        • Installation of panels, equipment and devices on sites around the UK.
        • City & Guilds/BTEC Level 3 or HNC in a relevant electrical biased subject and previous hands-on experience of electrical panel assembly and installation.

        M&E Manager

        Salary: £45,348 – £62,354 + benefits

        What we need from you…

        A well organised team player who has exceptional attention to detail and is familiar with electrical infrastructure and electrical principles.  You will work as an M&E Manager, holding a qualification in electrical engineering and/or electrical HND, whilst also having the appropriate skills and experience to fulfil the following duties:

         

        • Assist in evaluating M&E supplier proposals
        • Assist in generating proposals for M&E requirements
        • Co-ordinate and Attend site surveys.
        • Produce technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and carry out evaluation.
        • Attend design meetings (along with design sub-contractor as required).
        • Provide support to Site Supervisor in site progress meetings.
        • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and completion of the M&E sub-contract works.
        • Manage suppliers progress and performance, ensuring alignment with project plans.
        • Manage production of designs (by supplier) such as equipment locations, installation designs, equipment designs etc.
        • Manage M&E Factory Acceptance Tests and review all relevant documentation.
        • Manage co-ordination of designer and installer which may be different sub-contractors.
        • Review site test documentation and RAMS.
        • Manage site supervisors for M&E works.
        • Manage installation handover.
        • Electrical Engineering and/or electrical HND qualification with proven experience.
        • SSSTS, CSCS.
