PDS have made a commitment to become carbon neutral by 2030, introducing multiple schemes that can reduce the impact PDS and our employees have on the environment.
The most recent addition to our environmental portfolio is the completion of fitting our headquarters with Solar Panels. The completion of this work has resulted in the offices being self-sufficient, running off clean energy and significantly reducing our carbon footprint. The purpose of this plan has always been to contribute to the global effort to improve our future.
We have made countless other changes, with these always being developed and evolved to take us closer to our Net Zero target, with other schemes like EV charging points and Electric Vehicle schemes being made available to our employees, whilst also promoting Cycle to Work initiatives.
Other improvements have been made to the office; LED lighting has been installed, alongside new monitors for computers which are more efficient. At PDS we have worked with CoTreetment, to plant 232 trees that will absorb over 8700kg of CO2 since being planted in 2021.
