The Lighthouse Charity
We are proud to support the Lighthouse Charity as our official charity partner for RoTOF.
The Lighthouse Charity provides free, confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families across the UK and Ireland, 24 hours a day, seven days a week — through a round-the-clock helpline, text support, face-to-face counselling and emergency financial assistance.
Road tunnels and critical infrastructure rely on the dedication of thousands of people working behind the scenes every day. By supporting Lighthouse Charity, we are helping to ensure that those individuals and their families have somewhere to turn when they need support.
In support of the amazing work Lighthouse do we will be donating all profits from RoTOF 2027 to the charity.
What They Do
Emotional Wellbeing
Support for mental health, relationships, loneliness, trauma, bullying, bereavement and suicidal thoughts.
Physical Wellbeing
Help with illness, injuries, addiction, sleep, diet and nutrition, exercise and hormone support, alongside the charity’s emotional support services.
Financial Wellbeing
Advice on financial support, benefit entitlement, budgeting, debt management, tax and CIS, legal advice, and training or CSCS fees.
Wellbeing Academy
Free training and resources that help the whole industry build resilience and look out for one another, alongside the charity’s frontline support.
Supporting Their Winter Appeal
Every winter, the Lighthouse Charity sees a sharp rise in construction workers and families needing support, as rising fuel, housing and energy costs stretch household budgets to breaking point. The charity has launched a £200,000 Winter Appeal this year to fund emergency financial assistance, food and meal support, and counselling for people across the industry.
By attending, sponsoring or exhibiting at RoTOF 2027, you’ll be helping fund this appeal directly — keeping the helpline open, case workers available, and support reaching the people who need it most this winter.
You can also choose to make an optional donation when purchasing tickets, exhibition packages or sponsorship opportunities, helping us maximise the impact of our fundraising efforts.
