Capability
Our in-house team covers the full engineering lifecycle, including functional and hardware design, software development, panel build, and on-site commissioning. We specialise in SIL2-compliant safety systems, cyber-secure architectures, and the integration of diverse technologies—from legacy infrastructure to modern IP-based platforms.
Our capabilities extend to SCADA and PLC systems, CCTV, fire detection, traffic management, and environmental monitoring. We also operate a dedicated facility for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and in-house panel manufacturing, ensuring quality and control from design through to deployment.
Experience
With over 350 years of combined engineering experience, our team has delivered systems for some of the UK’s most critical infrastructure. This includes 46 road tunnels, 13 cable tunnels, and over 25 years of continuous work at Heathrow Airport.
Many of our engineers have been with PDS for 15–20+ years, bringing continuity, insight, and a deep understanding of complex environments. This experience allows us to anticipate challenges, adapt quickly, and deliver with confidence—every time.
